SCIENCE-BASED APPROACHES TO TRAUMA
Individualized plans of care and case management
Post-traumatic care of both psychologically and physically injured patients mandates a far more expansive repertoire of biomedical and psycho-neuro approaches to assessment, treatment and care than is offered by providers whose modalities of care are limited to conventional talk therapy.
OUR UNIQUE MULTI-PHASIC APPROACH
MediMental Care professionals work diligently to ensure that the most effective, interdisciplinary regimens of care are continually implemented. Both as in-house providers of care, and as specialized consultants to physicians and surgeons, we employ (l) extensive trauma-specific medical assessment, (2) proven techniques of stabilization of homeostasis in the body and central nervous system, (3) use of advanced laboratory assay and other medical data-gathering techniques, (4) employment of the most cutting edge neurological and radiological approaches to traumatic stress injury and PTSD, and (5) advanced, evidence based techniques of trauma-specific psychotherapy and neuro-cranial, nutritional, and (when prescribed by physicians) medicinal treatment.
Because most catastrophic injuries are multidimensional, trauma is not our only concern. Our Division of Licensed Counseling Services is available to assist patients with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, and other collateral and downstream effects of accident, injury and TBI.

MediMental Care professionals are typically the healthcare providers with the closest and most frequent ongoing contact with the patient. As such, we not only provide treatment, but assist in its case management as a central informational hub of the patient’s clinical care team. With over 20 years of experience in clinical case management, we work to foster an improved level of communication, collaboration and coordination among all of our patients’ providers. No one is more devoted to patient care than the staff of MediMental Care.
